This will be a short post as I’m enjoying a couple days vacation right now.  I just wanted to share a great site called HospitalCompare sponsored by the Department of Health and Human Services that provides data on hospital quality.  While the site is not the easiest to navigate, it does give great info on how your hospital stacks up against others on metrics like readmission rates, accuracy in care delivery and overall patient satisfaction.  We hope that more hard data such as this becomes more readily available for patients in the future.
